Turns out most of the complaints lodged against Finn were legitimate and he was a terrible detriment to the site. I guess it's a good thing Richard was defending him. lulz.

 

No, Finn was dishonest happened in either late 2010 or early 2011. That thread was posted by Tyro and it resulted in a lot of bans. The ebook scandal happened in the Fall of 2011. He was selling the book for $5, $10, or $15 based on how much you wanted to give, but I gave him 20 since I thought his sob story was real.

The way it was exposed was by him bragging in the IRC about the new laptop he got, and then people started getting angry ect.
