We all know they are here, aware of this site, browsing our forums, viewing our threads, reading our posts, staring in amazement at the proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling in this thread. I think it is time that we recognize them. So, I'll start off..

Hey JaGeX,

I admire your petty attempts to stop RWT and macroing, but as you can see by this site, you haven't done shit. We are still carrying on, strong as ever... How exactly does that make you feel? Why carry on with all these pointless updates. Thanks to your "New Macro Detection" update, I can safely bot anywhere I want, cause the general RuneScape population thinks botting is dead... so I no longer have to worry about people reporting me... All I can say is, what doesn't kill us, only makes us stronger... and due to all your past attempts to kill black markets... you've made us stronger than you.​

Dear JaGEx,

I respect the fact that you've put gaming integrity before the marketability of your product. I can only guess how much you've crippled your own sales through your attempts to deter real world trading, and wonder how many staff positions have been cut and how many paychecks have been slashed as otherwise active members are banned or forced to leave simply because they don't want to waste their time farming gold.

You've now left gold farming up to big corporations rather than the average person trying to earn a few bucks on Paypal. This means that, because they're professional, you have less accounts that are paying for membership, because the corporations are farming more efficiently than any average kid could ever dream. This further means that the corporations are becoming bloated, and, as the gold farming companies continue to grow, so does the amount of bug abuse and the raping of your browser-based game.

I greatly admire the fact that you have slayed a great number of your paying members in order to chase some idealized vision of a two-bit slipshod pixel-whored video game.

Dear JaGeX,

You tried to stop autoing and that didn't work out too well, eh? You posted something on your mainpage claiming to "Banning many high level accounts with stats in the 80s-90s" For autoing. I've been autoing on 3 different accounts for over 4 days straight and I still get no ban? I hope you read this and band those accounts because I don't need them, and if you don't you're all talk and no balls. You tried making PvPing Good and all that shit, Now you have people killing their friends with 26k and making Millions in hours. You fail and all you do is lie about everything jagex.

Your quality assurance team fails. Not only is botting stronger then ever but the amount of major bugs per update has grown significantly. All of the bugs created from the rest update for example...is the most fucked up shit I've ever seen. Even with your explanation of how it happened I still can't believe its possible to fuck up so badly with such a popular game. I seriously do know 12 year olds who could do better then most members of the QA team...

As you can see, people here are botting for days straight, selling accounts, selling items, exploiting bugs, all of this is happening more and more. As Jetr0x said, you have made the general public think everything we do is all in the past. Everyone thinks everything is okay, we can do what ever we want in the open. You have truly failed. Just bring back the old RuneScape, with the wildy, no trade limits, etc. Maybe if you do we'll cut down on our "Bad Behavior".

Jagex, first of all, I'd like to thank you for making such a great game that has revolutionized the internets. You brought up a community of people that love runescape that sit on the computer all day with no life. Then you brought up the people who enjoy runescape instead of the kids sitting at their computer through Christmas night saying, "Hold on brother, just a few more str lvls and I'll come see what santa brought us." Yeah. Kids still believe in santa because of you. You brought on the bug abusers, and coders who develop their own runescape servers. These people have fun with what runescape has brought, and all who still play runescape to try to have fun don't have fun, thanks to your "efforts to stop botting and RWTing, and maintaining a safe game environment."

How far will you take it? People can't trade things that are more or less than 5k to other people? People have to use YOUR set prices?

Runescape is a fucking dictatorship, no less. Runescape died the day the wilderness died. Jagex is now taking control of what people used to have fun with. It's like saying a kid can have his own computer, but can only user the text editor. It's like giving a kid an iPod and only letting him look at the screen. A virtual world should be at least SOMEWHAT like the real one, be it fantasy or not.

It may seem like Sythe is the rebellion but I believe that we are actually helping you. In a way, Sythe educates players of the real Runescape and they have the freedom to discuss Runescape in a non-controlled (with exceptions) environment where they can learn more about the game as well as it's different aspects. Here on Sythe.org, players become more active and knowledgeable in regards to Runescape but we also learn about the real world too. We all know that the site has a abundance in scammers. People learn and grow from being scammed so it won't happen in real world. Losing a few bucks here and there is nothing compared to what can happen in the real world. Sythe.org teaches people real-life issues using the frowned upon black-market. It merely is a catalyst in the growth and development of Runescape's players and it can teach people many morals. It may be difficult trying to live with a site that promotes activity in which violates your T.O.C but we must remember that Runescape is only a game, nothing more. Also, botting is restoring people's social lives. While they break your rules and ruin the game for others, many people are discovering the world outside of the computer. It gives them freedom and liberty to not be forced to spend a fortune on an account or precious time wasted on a computer game. The game is addicting, as we've all experience. Macroing is a reliever.

Seriously, I don't see why you try to fight Jagex, they are the reason sythe exists...And the things they do are only to make the game more fair for other players and/or increase their profit, which sounds like any other business's goals. I'm not defending Jagex, I just don't see why we have to make such a fuss about it.

I'd just like to say JaGeX, i am a respected player of your game although i do bot. But, all i have to say is no matter what game you make there is always competitors and people who oppose or profit off you. If you make the game free online and make it into a console or downloadable CD, you could bring back PK'ing the way we liked it. Asians couldn't falsely steal credit cards and make accounts, they would have to buy a CD. Market it just like your JaGeX cards in BestBuy and GameStop and shit. You would also get more players, as the game would be bought by the common 11 year old looking for new games with money GrandMaMa gave them for christmas.
