Odds of getting banned from elo boosting?

Been boosted every season ever since season 2 ranging from gold to plat. Just want your guys knowledge on the likelihood of being banned for elo boosting and knowing what riot looks at to spot someone being elo boosted. Also what if someone sends in a ticket of you being elo boosted or lots of people sending in tickets saying you were elo boosted.

Been boosted every season except one season where I took a break from the game. And what are some preventative measures to lower your chances of getting caught.

Chances of getting caught: Extremely, extremely, extremely low.

Preventative measures: Ensure the booster doesn't state he is doing so in game.

Is it really that low? Every year, around a couple weeks after the season ends, there's a ban wave of MMR boosters. You can see them post a ton on the same day in the general discussion section on the LoL forums. This year's wave, according to the posts whining about it, was December 11th. It covered people who got boosted from the beginning of the season in January to the people who got boosted right before the season ended. There's around 100+ threads made about it each year.

Anyways, I've boosted a ton of my friends' accounts and none of them got banned.

There's probably over 50,000 players getting boosted per season, if not more, just on NA servers, and more on EU servers.

If 100 are caught for boosting, that's still 1%.

I was involved in over 300 boosts this year on the OCE server, and 0 accounts have been banned.

It's far more likely if you for example, purchase a boost from bronze - challenger, and then people realise you've been boosted, and multiple manual tickets are submitted.

Riot don't give a shit about the majority of elo boosters/people getting boosted. They really only say they take a proactive approach, to deter people from opting into said services.

I bought a boost last minute last last last season? because I forgot and didn't have time to play during the year. After rewards were given out, they stripped me of all past season awards and the current. Meaning i lost all my rewards from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and ect literally wanted to cry. I only bought a boost to my actual elo too. They played the 10 games and got me to diamond which is my play level.

I think it depends really. I was boosted mid season to plat 5 and I peaked myself at plat 3 and was still banned at the end of the season and stripped of all my rewards :(

i've been stuck plat 1 for a long time now. i've faced and beaten many d5 players. you essentially have to play like a d3+ just to get d5 which im not. so sometimes, i can see why people would get the extra push if they're close enough.

A friend of mine got his account banned for two weeks for elo boosting, but he's never boosted in his life.

I went on his account to issue a ticket to their support, as he has no idea how to do it. They said that they are 100% certain that he has boosted. He's been Gold for the past few years, and still Gold at this very moment. I'm unsure as to how that's boosted, but that's Riot Games logic for you right there.

    That's not true.

If you can't get there after 100's of games, you either A) Don't deserve to be there yet, which leads to B) You need to play more games to get there.

You do not need to play like a D3 player to get to D5.

10 placements games doesn't get you to diamond. 10-0 highest placement is P1. So, not sure what you're on about.

Being diamond prior seasons doesn't equate to getting to diamond with an extremely low amount of played games by a booster. I.e, I've got friends who are D5, and it takes them 500 or so games per season to get there. If a booster gets there in 30, it's completely different. Not to mention, your MMR would be far higher than that of D5 (using D5 as an example).
