The war was for oil, but only in the sense that America wants access and control of that oil, as well as dominion over the Middle East.

Obama is right-wing compared to Europe and most of the rest of the world. How the hell is he a socialist? Do you know what socialism actually is?

Those troops are/were there because of the Cold War, not WWII, weren't they? Because of the perceived threat from the USSR.

I'm not even going to bother arguing about Obama being a Muslim or not, since it is irrelevant. Even if he were a Muslim, it wouldn't matter unless it was reflected in his policy.

The great policy is in that blueprint for change above, but I think it's great because it's further to the left and therefore akin to the rest of the developed world.

In other news, I support McCain FULLY. I don't believe in all his views, but God damn the man is as honest as a politician comes.

McCain is a been there-done that kinda guy. He knows what to do in what situation. Obama doesn't. Obama is a coward, who is riding so much on the color of his skin. This isn't the world that MLK envisioned, riding on your color to get you somewhere, etc. He envisioned NO color. As in no "time for a black president." That's not seeing past his color, that's APPLYING his color. I personally don't look at someone's color, I look at their true intent. And universal healthcare, right? That's like telling the doctors "We're only paying you .50 cents a day." Doctors wages will go down, and the rich people will be taxed more, because they get off their asses and DO SOMETHING. And the gas prices are high, because the LIBTARD GREENIES (Obama supporters, by the way) Will not let us drill into Alaska, and other huge oil reserves, to save a couple animals.

McCain wouldn't be terrible, but I think Obama has a better grasp of what's important, and what should be done. I also think his foreign policy would be far better, despite his lack of experience, in terms of improving our relationship with other countries. He is, after all, undoubtedly the better speaker.
