nutritional value of chickpeas

have you guys seen how nutritionally DENSE chickpeas are?

per 100 gram it has only 63 grams of carbs, of which 10 grams are sugars and 12 grams are fiber.
only 6 gram of fat, with 10% being saturated fat, and the rest unsaturated fats (the healthy ones).
and it has 20.5 grams of protein.


these are Overpowered stats by themselves but then i found out they're actually delicious too right from the can.

i just think its weird that all these industries try to promote carnivore diets and whatever kind of supplements when theres litterally chickpeas being the cheapest and best source of health and making some gainz.

anyway, thats enough ranting from me, what other foods are criminally underrated in your opinion?

 

We eat pasta noodles made from chickpeas. We won't eat any other pasta after having these noodles.

 

hummus is pretty legit if you want to eat a lot of chickpeas
