Noteable Banned Users Thread

Cosrob97's idea caught on. It was used for 2011, and 2012, so it's time for a 2013 thread. If a notable user has been permanently banned this year they may be on this list.

I don't think he is going to be perm banned, correct me if i'm wrong though.

 

I know he won't be, but in the other threads I believe we also posted temp bans.

Edit- yup, they were. Once they get unbanned, you write that as well.

 

When u get hacked; the bann is really SRB until further notice of being hacked. So its not really noteable banned users as he/she is not really banned.

 

I dont think you get the point of the thread. Its to explain whats up with people and why, if its SRB'ed because of hacking or whatever it's relevant to the thread. After all its self requested BAN.

Arcus is currently banned, he should most definitely be on this list.

 

Oh its because if its a noteable ban due to being hacked etc; they will post as announcement anyways but I don't see the reason why not to have this thread

 

That was how the other Noteable Banned User thread works previously so I don't think this one should change much.

As for Arcus, he should be in this list to provide additional detail for users who are interested in looking up.

 

The making of this list sounds like a good idea for the fact that you can also see the ban reason to people without having to post in http://www.sythe.org/community-general/1410940-where-did-name-here-go.html. Thanks for continuing this Jack.

 

Thanks for the Arcus, wasn't sure whether or not to put him on due to it being a kinda SRB, but still.

 

Arcus shouldn't be on the list. The list is for those who got permed.

He didn't scam or anything. Else I would be in 2012, where I'm not.

 

Is arcus permed? I don't see a SRB, and when he comes back he can request it to be removed.

 

No he is not. He is banned as a precaution, he is travelling atm.

 

Is he in china?

All jokes aside, Kevin001 was added to the list when he was permed when he got hacked so we may as well leave Arcus up, with further documentation regarding his unbanning when it occurs.

 

This, this is helpful for some of the better known users. I used the 2012 thread quite often, saves time and spamming the http://www.sythe.org/community-general/1410940-where-did-name-here-go.html a lot.

You should have been, this thread is to help people find out why higher profile people were banned. Self Requested or not, it often shows as "BANNED" and people have questions as to why.. this is notable banned user thread not notable permed user thread.

x339's link isn't broken. The thread's been deleted for some reason. It was in Community General, so either ask Dave or a Global what happened to it. I do remember it being undeleted before.

Also, Arcus should go up seeing as he is still banned regardless of whether he was hacked or not. This is an archive for notable banned users of 2013, and he has been banned this year.

Punker was banned in 2012 due to a pardon he made. He should be on the 2012 notable banned users list instead.
