You can also use the backup codes offered to you by Google at the time of setting up 2-Step verification. Did you print these out at all? If not, it is suggested that you do when this issue is resolved, and keep your account recovery options up to date!

99% of the problems relating to non receipt of verification codes have been found to be at the recipient's carrier end. First thing you should do is discuss this with your 'phone company! These problems from India are Vodaphone users only!

Does your carrier accept short code text messages in their sms system?

Does your carrier/phone plan charge for receiving sms messages? If so, do you have enough available credit?

Do you have sufficient reception quality to receive an sms? You may have to move to another spot to overcome this.

Have you recently ported your account to another carrier, and is the carrier data base up to date?

Are you using a service which re-sells airtime from another carrier? In some cases that does not work at at all because of the data base issue at the primary cell phone operator - not up to date, or they will not forward, etc.

Have you previously been receiving codes? If so, the error more than likely is as previously mentioned - at your carrier's end.

Otherwise you can ry to recover the account at https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery/

Finally when resolved, please consider installing this app on your smartphone; codes will be generated without a connection.

And you should also have backup codes (mentioned above) on hand for such a situation, and make sure that your account recovery options are set up, and kept up to date at all times.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to make sure that you secure your account!

Already called my carrier, they said they enabled short code blocking which blocks the spam and stuff, and i had them disable it , but still nothing

 

Have you tried recovering ur acc
