Not allowing 'tipping' in free graphics section.

So we should disallow voluntary gratuity? Never expect a tip for doing any free service, regardless of whether it's hinted at. I think that should be the bottom line here.

 

No Support Because I Need Free GFX.

 

As someone who has just received free graphics, here is my mindset on the situation. When I look for free GFX, I don't expect high quality stuff honestly, but I'm willing to tip if it comes out really really good. Sure some people might use it negatively just to get them prioritized, but it's not all of them. I'm not saying the GFX that I got wasn't worth a tip, but it's not something that I would pay for upfront, if that makes sense. I appreciate people who do free GFX, whether they are just being nice or just want to get better by offering some people some GFX. But people should know that they are doing a free service and for that reason alone when someone offers a tip from the start, it probably will not happen, but it could. Basically it most likely will not happen, but it can.

If someone wants to tip for a free service they should be able to, I don't really see a problem with it.

 

If someone gets a free design that is so good, that he loves it and actually wants to pay the designer a little bit just for the quality of the design. then he should be able to do so.
