So tell me, how does this work for everyone?
Personally, I've had quite a bit of luck. First of all, if you pick something that they don't expect, you may run into the situation where they attempt to counterpick you but instead gives your teammate that opportunity.
A great example is my AD top nidalee. I've just been starting to learn her, but my last game was honestly one of the most fun League games i've ever played. Her mobility is retarded, even after the nerfs. I just picked her up this week and I've played AP, support and top, and AD top is amazing.
Here's my recent, check this build out. If you're in my elo (gold) players don't even usually lolnexus and start magic resist or some nonsense agianst me, which leaves it easy to auto them to hell and pounce on their asses at 6.
What are your examples of going against the meta that works or doesn't work?
This doesn't include the nonsense like the AP blitz mid that I had yesterday.... the feeds were unreal.
