New sig, trying out a new style...Rate

I've gotten so used to my fav. style, and some people who will not be named (i.e : MLP.) mentioned I should try a new style, so, I made this while I was messing around...

Rate it...

 

Move or get rid of the "GFX Artists, 50 Cent minimum". Also, choose a better font. The red glow doesn't go with it as well unless you change the color of the "CLANK". I'm not the best person to critique this but I don't really like it. Looks like all you did was slap a few brushes together, added a render, then added text.

 

Looks like you just brushed a few times over then slapped a render and text on.

 

Thats pretty much the same as your other ones, you need to look at some tuts and follow a few aswell learn to blend the render better, get some better brushes and make it looks good.
That is pretty much the same because all you did is a text(s), outer glow, a brush or a few brushes of the same brush and a render.
Look at some tuts because they will really help you learn how to make a nice sig.
Also try a new font that one is getting a little old lol, get a nice one, it doesnt matter if it looks good, but you should notice how most people will use a nice font not a grunge or distorted one, it just makes the sig look a bit cleaner and it doesnt draw as much attention away form the actual sig.

 

I like the font of Clank and the render, though you could take away the 50cents minimum and Thu, it only looks like it but I reckon its alot harder than that.

 

Please don't call yourself a gfx artist.

By the way MLP, use the GIMP, so...Tuts are rather hard to find, and I've done most of them.

 

I know you use gimp...
Just google the GIMP tuts or something look on www.deviantart.com aswell there should be a few there.
Or just look a photoshop tuts and gimp pretty much has all that stuff now so it wont be to hard.

Lol then you should be able to get something a little better then a render, a text or 2 and an outer glow and sometimes a reflection.
Even though it can possibly, just maybe look ok a little bit, it still doesnt require much skill at all to do it. (i dont know how to make an outer glow on GIMP... lmfao)
Umm yer just try a few sigs with no render at all just do some brushing with a coloured back ground, try and get something your happy with, you dont have to put a text on it so if you dont want to make one for it dont worry about it, but just do some brushing and when you get something your happy with then post it.
Then after that you can go on tips from that and get some flow happening and make an even better one.

 

I'm sure you have. All you did on this was get a PSD/Render, throw it in front of some random brushing, put your name on it which looks horrible, and then the other text at the bottom which is just plain disgusting. Try again.

well I don't like that style my self atall.. it's just brishing over the BG and just slap the render in the middle. no effect no nothing. plain and boring ;S

 

I'm actually going to give you some constructed criticism instead of flaming. Your current sig with the shadows is much better. The one you posted could use a bit of work with the pic of the person, maybe some better shadowing but other than that it's okay. The GFX artist + 50cent minimum ruins the pic though, you really need to remove that and you can just put text under your pic in your sig.

 

Tips: Get a better font, make it smaller. Place the text in a better place.
