New Market Section

Ok this will probably get denied but I just want to hear some opinions before a mod close the thread


What if we had a market section visible ONLY to 25$+ donor or/and 500 posts minimum or idk.

*** this section would be a new one, we would still have the other one visible to everyone

There would be requirements in term of posts/donation/date/or whatever to view the market section and enter it.

1. People would feel way safer selling/buying things there
2. Less scam reports because no newcomers
3. Increasing activity of the site (if a member wants to get enough posts to enter it)
4. Increasing chances of donations (to enter the market)
5. The only site with a safer market for veteran/site donors only

I wanna hear what u guys think about something like this. Suggest an idea, agree or disagree with it, ...

I don't know if it's a good idea to have to separate markets, that would pretty much label them as "Sketchy Market" and ":less sketchy/legit market". I don't think it's a good way to divide the site personally.

 

I don't think people would be safer either, you find more SVU scammers than you do normal scammers, because people fall for the whole "SVU must mean they won't scam."

Also, it's not hard to scam $50, make a new account, make it $25 donor and repeat the process.

 

This exactly. The new market would make users feel they can't be scammed, which is NOT true.
