Definitely a RAT, my friend had done this on his own "Hack site" where it's apparently a "Runescape auto woodcutter" webclient sort of thing, infact it looked extremely legit.

Never run those unknown applications like the others stated before me.

It's not automatically installed on your computer, when the Java script runs THEN it's installed, and yes he's right don't click unverified links.

 

This is the guy that hacked my computer, hacked my Runescape account (one in signature), messed up my harddrive, saved porn and pasted it everywhere on my computer and nearly got me banned on other forums.


I wanted my Runescape account back and he was making me pay $10 but then he suddenly turned "generous" and sent me a link to download a file with the password and I scanned the file and it was a virus/keylogger.

 

keylogger's are failure i got scammed $109 and my runescape account also i think these people should be ip bann and tracked down for ilegal files and documents and they should be behind bars

if u have firefox (which you should), you should download a program called KeyScrambler. Its an add-on that encrypts every keystroke you enter into firefox. as I type right now its changing the keystrokes to random keys which keeps me safe woot =). just throwin that out there lol

dont fall for the tricks scum bag hackers try and pull. Hacking is like the force. there is a good side and bad side, you choose which one you want to be on =P

Some one was doing this On euroscape or somthing like this, its a fairly old keylogger trick, Just stupid morons thinking there good hacking people...

 

Its a Java Drive-By exploit,
if you click cancel nothing happens, if you click run. youre fucked.
Its pretty old btw. and if you got an antivirus it will warn you when it tries to run.

 

FYI, java applets by default do not have access to write to the file system. You will get a few warnings if it tries to. However, by that time if you still let it do so, you're probably an idiot and deserve to get infected anyway.

 

1 warning, if you click run it will write to your system, i can know because i created one a while ago...

My friend had a drive by applet for WoW and he showed me how they worked. I'm glad I actually payed attention or I would have clicked many java applets before.
