Well I'm officially going to be making videos mostly about gaming and tuts. Any ideas on whats popular at the moment?

Black Ops is going to be the most popular game on YouTube when it comes out (in November). I suggest you look into that and check some well known MW2 youtubers while you're at it (to see what they do to get views).

A few examples of popular MW2 youtubers: Hutch, Seananners, Tejbz, Wingsofredemption, TheMoodieSwede.

But I guess if you're not into COD those won't matter.

Mafia II is pretty hot right now. You can rent it and do some gameplay footage.
Other than that: COD MW2 kills, RS crap, WOW crap, SC II crap.

Pokemon walkthroughs are common. But if you do one about white/black (japanese only atm) it will be very popular or SoulSilver/HeartGold.

You could try looking at the popular gamer stations. Just find the ones with like 50k+ subs.
