Need some help ~micro chip

Making a thread for a friend he's currently having some issues with a microchip details are AN908 dspic30f6010a

if anyone has knowledge with these or knows c/assembly coding language could you please contact his skype : intellectual_smegma

the issue he's having from what he has told me is ( he's changing the parameter value and it's causing the chip to stop working, he has 2 videos and the source code available for anyone to look at)

it works with value being 707 but he needs to change it to 256, upon changing the chip just flashes in the screen as if it's refreshing.
idk if there's a microchip section or what i forget though but if u see any suitable one post it there ig
