Need Internet Connection Help!! [URGENT]

Hey I Am at a friends house and at my house MY comp Which is Windows Vista. Says that I am connected to the internet but when I attempt to open anything to do with internet connection It Doesn't allow me on. The same cable allows me on my Xbox 360 Live. Please help!!

 

Do you know why it doesn't connect?

Try restarting your computer. It happens to me sometimes and usually restarting it will help.

 

It doesn't give you an error or anything, doesn't tell you why it won't work?

Anyway..try restarting your router, make sure that all internet cables are plugged in properly, and make sure your wifi is turned on if your using it.

 

restart the router if not you proberly got a virus, check for that if not your cable is proberly broken

 

Always use Malewarebytes anti malware to scan for viruses etc

Disable your connection and then re-enable it as that may help also.

Restart computer at this point....
