❤️ OMM Appreciation Thread ❤️

I just wanted to give a big thanks to all the OMM who dedicated their time and upheld their morality to facilitate safe trades to everyone. I feel OMM are one of the sole reasons this site has stayed afloat with new traders, and others like myself have followed by example as well as many others.

Whether or not you were active towards the end doesn't take away from the good work you did at the beginning and middle. Whether or not you charged as an OMM doesn't take away anything either as time is money and OMM provided a safety factor for those that were in need of it.

I always wanted to become part of the OMM team and although I was rejected, I understand the warm feeling you get when someone is genuinely grateful for the time and help you gave to them. Developing trust in others is something hard to come by and you made it a mission to let others know that people could be trusted, and that feeling of connection is priceless.

Just wanted to add, this thread has nothing to do with my feelings toward the removal of the rank or anything surrounding that topic. I'm just giving thanks to the individuals.

 

Well said man, I will be making a suggestion within a few days to bring OMM back under new leadership (The previous Head Middleman Shin and Video were both extremely sloppy/lazy when it came to managing the team and both were not voted on but just got the rank because they were/are admins)

I truly believe that removing the rank entirely was a terrible decision for many reasons, one being it gave people something to work towards which is a great thing for the site, I will give many more reasons when I post a thread in suggestions.

 

Nice thread! I think many Sythe users took to the whole concept of OMM charging high fees or fees in general too seriously to the point of forgetting the sheer amount of hard work it took to get there, the amount of trades they had helped secure, the amount of members they protected all before being accepted as an OMM and continued to do so after at greater lengths.

I’ve spent nearly all my years in the market being a middle man and earned a concept similar to official on other sites. It’s a great feeling to be a middle man and successfully help two people trade with one another, a great way to give back to the community.

Thanks are definitely in order to all those mentioned in OP and those that might have been missed.

Just messing with you @Devil. Second everything you said. I don't think anyone here could or would deny the contributions that many of the OMMs have made to the success of Sythe.

I think you're putting words into people's mouths when you say

That list + the ones missed are good people who have definitely served the community in more ways than one. I can certainly say that I appreciate them all.

Thanks to all the OMM and their hard work! Sad to see it go as I was excited to apply myself, but overall you guys put in tons of work into the community and it has helped many newcomers come and join our community so thank you for that!

 

Just a shout out to all of the OMMs over the years. Y'all put in work to get where you were so props to you.

 

Hey thanks man, I feel like alot of what is happening could have been fixed by having somebody who could have dedicated time to be HMM, but I don't regret the time put into it

 

Not that my opinion matters or means anything but just like anything in life, there is pros and cons to everything would you all not agree? having said this, I do believe there is great benefits to having OMM on the website because as stated above it helps with the site and gives people something to work towards.


However, this should be done with good leadership and not to bash anyone but I am sure all staff members regardless admins or not have a lot on their plate and a lot of work to do so sometimes the people responsible for this specific team couldn't keep up or whatever the case may be.


Lets not bash anyone or be negative towards anyone I firmly believe all staff members and all members play a key role in different areas of the website which is what makes this website so great because it has all of you here!


Hopefully whatever is best will be decided and a big shout out to all OMM they are a big pillar of this website and they are what keeps this website standing so beautifully <3

I've gotta a lot of love for the work moo put into OMM, for me personally he was the one who balanced the prestige of the rank with the morality of using it to not make a profit, but ensure safe trades on the site. (Not saying profiting is wrong) I hope one day a revitalized
version of the rank can comeback.
