Need Help ASAP: PayPal - Question about chargeback.

Ok I have a question.

I'm sure you know about the whole PayPal thing with Claim and Cancel and all that good stuff. It's supposed to prevent them from charging back money.

Well, I've heard that people can claim the money even after they claim and cancel. I've also experienced this. I'm - $30 in paypal because someone charged back money on an account i sold them (not mentioning any names).

I was just wondering, is there a way to prevent them from claiming the charge was unauthorized?

If they're credit card funded, they can easily reclaim the cash. Probaby they were, or using a stolen Paypal.

 

same thing happened to me, and you don't want to know how much i lost.
you should just stop using paypal, its simple to get scammed

 

Lol, to be honest i got scammed $3,000 Usd from paypal, but i got it back once i took action to it. I think you should use moneybookers its much safer.

 

There's pretty much nothing you can do if it was a Runescape related trade since you can't provide any evidence, PayPal is not safe at all and claim & cancel is pretty useless and you can still easily chargeback.
