Obvious changes to make this into a more professional work:
The spacing is nice, but you'll have to make sure that text doesn't run through each other. Your dotted "I" needs to not have the dot run down through the lower piece. Use Photoshop to correct The "S" running through your "I", as well as the "R" running through your "E", and things will look much nicer.
Additionally, consider not allowing the outer material any "plastic" or "metalic" effects. It would look loads better if it looked like stone, but you've got a shine effect running the top of your text that doesn't belong unless there's a piece of glass running along the facing of the text [including over the stone.]
Most of the brushing works with this text idea, as the technical style is almost "construction" themed. I like the color. The circle, however, behind the back could be replaced with, say, a crane. Put a dump truck up front. Go toward the look of today's Ford "F-Series" advertisements and you'd polish this up just as it looks like it should.
P.S.: For the sake of validity, I only used Photoshop to make the "3D" effects on my current signature. No stock images, and only stock fonts were used.
