Hey guys, so I've been itching to get into a new show lately, but I haven't been able to find one.

Need some recommendations. I like pretty much any genre as long as the show has decent enough grittiness and plot progression.

I've had Netflix for four years, so I've watched pretty much everything it seems like :( .

Maybe tell me of any hidden gems you've found whilst perusing Netflix? I've done pretty much all of the big ones - Breaking Bad, Arrow, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Prison Break, Burn Notice, Blue Mountain State, The League, The Office, Sons of Anarchy, etc. etc. I'll let you know if I missed something and you recommend it.

Shows I'm considering:

Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The 100

Sunflora
Mareep
Flaaffy
Ampharos
Poképedia
Rakashrug
Baby Yoda
Carrot

A lot of people I know who enjoyed The Office also enjoy Parks & Recreations; they're both on my to-watch list.

Revolution is pretty good, but it's only two seasons and it really disappointed me when it was discontinued. Lost! Lost is one of my all-time favourites.

Some of the shows I've watched that are over are Lost (6 Seasons), House, M.D. (8 Seasons), Rescue Me (7 Seasons). Some more girly, dramatic ones: Private Practice (6 Seasons), Army Wives (7 Seasons), Desperate Housewives (8 Seasons).

A good, short anime if you're into anime: Death Note (37 Episodes).

Thanks Yankiee, I appreciate the response :).

Unfortunately, I have watched Lost. I totally forgot to add it to the list. It is a fantastic show though.

As for your other ideas - I love House, but sometimes I admit I get queasy while watching it. I don't normally have a weak stomach, but that show makes me feel weird sometimes.

I'll have to look into mostly all of them as I've only heard them in passing or not at all. Cool idea on the Anime show as well, I've never disliked an Anime so that could definitely be an option.

If ur willing to wait i heard a netflix run and streamed show about the daredevil (dc universe right?) will be on it. Might be good :)

Did not know that, but that is definitely right up my alley in terms of interest. Thanks man.

Will do some research on that.

Parks and Rec is nice.

Trailer Park Boys - This show, lmao. Very cheap "stoner" type show based in Canada. I couldn't get enough of it, man.

Erm, I'm basically in the same boat as you, I always have trouble finding something to watch on Netflix.

Definitely watch Death Note. Everyone I suggested that show to loved it. It's only 37 episodes. I can guarantee that you'll get hooked by the time you finish the second episode.

Also, if you're looking for a sitcom, try How I Met Your Mother.

If you're still looking for suggestions:
Parks and Recreation
Dexter

Anime:
Death Note was fanfuckingtastic, would defintely recommend it.
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (FMA alone is pretty good, but Brotherhood > IMO.)
Avatar the Last Airbended and Avatar the Legend of Korra (I'm aware these aren't actually anime, but they're similar.) They may not be on Netflix, but they are on Amazon Prime and are all over internet for streaming. Two of my favorite shows.
Naruto, it's kinda long, but I've thoroughly enjoyed both it and Shippuden
Fairy Tail, it's a great anime, action scenes are good, has a pretty good plot, and it's quite funny

Drama/Action/Serious shows:
The 100 is pretty good, the beginning of the first season was kinda iffy, buy it gets good (I now dl it on a weekly basis.)

Dexter, gets kinda eh around 4-5th season, but gets good again towards the end.

American Horror Story is pretty damn good if you haven't seen that. Every season is a different plot-line with different characters (same actors though)

The Following is also pretty good, I hadn't heard of it and just watched it from a Netflix suggestion and I liked it.

Jericho is pretty good. Show got cancelled but had quite the following, it's kinda like the 100 where it's kinda ehh in the beginning, but it gets better.

If you haven't seen The Walking Dead, you should check that out. Probably one (if not the one) of my favorite shows.

Comedy/Sitcoms:
That 70's show is a great show if you're looking for something more comedic. Same with HIMYM, both are rather similar, but different age groups.

Friends (is being put on January 1st)
