I posted up ahead why they're all to blame. To not place any blame on Leonard or Duncan is just incorrect. They're all to blame. All of em. Kawhi Leonard could have stopped a Game 7, plain and simple. That is an indisputable fact. Because of that indisputable fact, I feel he is to blame for there even being a game 7, but I also backed up and said they're all to blame...which they are. And yes...in college you don't have corrupted officiating.

The heat are going to go to win more titles and the spurs are going to simply start falling apart.

game 6 - parker, ginobili and leaonard all missed late free throws. To blame it on leaonard is just fucking stupid.

Guys chill out lol, I already acknowledged multiple times blaming just Kawhi Leonard was stupid!! I'm just saying as someone who was rooting for the Spurs to win, it was frustrating seeing him miss the shot that could have sealed a title. That's all I'm saying. I realize there were a copious amount of other factors.

But who was Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls???

    inb4CP3andD12superteam

But in all seriousness, I don't think the Spurs are gonna fall apart anytime soon. Duncan's fundamentals are so sound he can still play a high level even at this high age, and with the added motivation of losing a G7 Finals, I'm sure he's gonna come back with a vengeance next season. I've watched the dude for nearly 10 years and I've never seen him as frustrated as last night (slamming the floor after the botched lay-in). Not to mention Parker is elite and barring any injuries, should be in top notch next season since his hamstring will undoubtedly take care of itself over the off-season. Leonard's development has been huge as well, kid's only going to get better next season and play a more pivotal role on the team, and at 6'8", huge ass umbrella hands, and his 3 point range, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Pop is still top 3 GOAT coach, and will surely be there as long as Duncan is.

I'll say this forever; kawhi leonard is a better bruce bowin. He's got amazing defense skills like Snow Patrol said. Him and Tim duncan (i guess you could add tony parker aswell) were the only reasons why the spurs had a chance. Kawhi is only going to get better, and his stats from last night shows it all.

I truly & honestly believe that Manu was shaving points. The dude sucked ASS last night! What the hell was he doing?? And better yet, why did papa leave him in the game for so long???? I've never been a fan of manu.

Also, i'm still quite confused as to why papa didn't foul the heat in game 6 when they were driving down the court.
They needed 3, so send them to the line and have them shoot 2 with like 8 seconds left.

Oh well, i'm glad Lebron got another ring, i wish that the rest of the team wouldn't have got one tho since they did absolutely nothing. Maybe Ray allen, but that's it. I also hope they cut d wade and bosh and build their team, but i know that's never gonna happen.

Ginobili really did look like he was on the Heat payroll.

Pop stated in the press conference that he doesn't play like that, and frankly I'm happy he doesn't since it takes away from the moment.

However in hindsight it probably would've been a good plan, but then again he didn't expect his team to miss 2 critical rebounds down the stretch.

That's an asinine comment from Pop then. Way to cost your team a chance at winning a CHAMPIONSHIP because your false sense of pride and ego got in the way.

Just makes me real clear on the fact San Antonio deserved to lose. They choked, plain and simple.

Pop is unquestionably a top 3 coach of all time. The amount of respect he garners from his players is unrivaled, and I'm sure he has his reasoning for the plays he called.

Had he hacked Bosh, he could've hit the first FT and intentionally missed the second off the back iron where Offensive rebounds are fair game. Things just weren't going the Spurs' way in the closing moments, and an unlucky bounce here and a lucky shot there just escalated on the biggest stage.

The Heat won G6 moreso because of luck as opposed to lack of coaching insight, is what I'm trying to say.

The spurs wont fall apart next year, but its only a matter of time, ofc they will have cash to spend to replace duncan and ginobili etc also.

Top coach or not, you can still make mistakes. I don't disagree he's a top coach. Still think fouling there is a better option. Yeah Bosh could have missed on purpose, but so many things would have had to go right for the Heat. The odds would have been stacked against them a lot more than that Ray Allen 3 was. Cuz when Ray Allen launches more times than not it's going in.

Allen isn't a 50%+ 3 point shooter lol, it was a wild shot and it just so happened to go in.

Heat got lucky, and even they know it. The cards just didn't fall into place for the Spurs or however the saying goes.

That's still arguably the greatest 3 pt shooter of all time launching it though.
