Just played a few games with nautilus as he was on the free roster
i was only vsing AI (dont have enough champs yet) but i had amazing fun with him, he has rediculous cc and is very tanky i built him very tanky with randiun warmogs and the armour boots and some other tanky items

however i bought abyssal sceptre and some guy flamed me about it but i personally liked it
whats your opinions on builds and gameplay style with nautilus

EDIT: NEW BUILD IS: (mercury's are built after abyssal sceptre is made)

I've never played him myself, & I don't see him played that often.
When i do, he seems to own. I think you build him tanky with a decent amount of damage.
Abyssal spectre seems a good choice to me.

I play him in the jungle so I get the golem jungling item. I also build Malady and Stinger on him, he does crazy damage with some attack speed. Give it a try.

He's a Jungler. I used to love playing him but find him pretty useless come lategame due to far to high CD's.

When i play "jungler" i just start at top lane then kill all the forest monsters then try run around helping ppl am i doing it right?

You start in the jungle, typically wraiths>red or wolves>blue, then clear other camps or try and gank/invade their jungler.

just played my first non AI game with nautilus i absolutely owned and ended up with like 10/1/20 ratio and ended up being able to tank the whole other team but the people i was playing with and the people i were versing sucked

where can i go to get some better competition

Are you level 30? If you feel you can play all roles quite well, have a variety of rune pages, and understand how to pick accordingly to the opposition, start playing Ranked.

With your build, you are basically guaranteeing they won't attack you. Since you are the tank and want to draw fire, maybe consider loosening up on the tankiness just a bit.

That's very silly, especially at competitive play. You should simply be peeling for your adc/apc. The tankier the better. Focus on CDR items as fast as you can. FH/Shurleyas/Visage, etc.

Exactly, add utility instead of pure tankiness. Peeling is good, but you need CDR to do it often enough... and you might as well provide some auras while you are at it.

You can jungle anyone, but in terms of the most common/popular... of the top of my head I can name:

• shyv
• udyr
• lee
• hecarim
• jax
• cho
• maokai
• shaco
• karthus
• jarvan
• Vi
• amumu
• malphite
• alistair
• fiddle

Honestly, I don't have a pre-set build for any champion as I find that rather silly.
I build based on what their team brings to the table.
If they have a lot of AP based champion I tend to stack MR that game, it isn't smart to build the same thing every time.
