That happened to me while using a usb laser mouse. It didn't click, it just flew around the screen, i also had nothing harmful on my machine because it was the same on all the other computers i used.

My suggestion: Buy a new one, they arn't expensive.

If using a USB mouse, Check it's plugged in properly, and nothing blocking its path.
If it's a Wired mouse, Ball used, Check the ball can move around smoothly, no marks on it ect.

well did you get a power surge and you usb drive for your mouse is messed up?

yeh its defo a virus just download lots of free antivirus programs and see if they detect it?

XS, what drive are your mouse drivers on? Make sure you scan that drive, or try reinstall the drivers? Um, also have you recently plugged a new piece of hardware in? That might cause a problem, and have you tried checking for unusual processes and startup items and services?

A good idea is to go into a computer clinic place and ask them for advice.
