My Lyric Chalkboard

Basically as I learn to play guitar myself, I find it boring doing scales so I decided I wanted to do some songs and that would be a more fun way to learn as I could make them as difficult or hard to play as I wanted. I don't really know how my singing voice is, but I might get to record them in a few months. So I'm just using this thread as a virtual chalkboard for my song lyrics. Feel free to comment. I'll write a bit about each song and what inspired it. Keep in mind, allot of these are first drafts which means its the first thing written down, so it might not be perfect.

Basically, this song was inspired by the beautiful country. I lived there till I was about 9, and moved away. This song basically tells the story of the longing of seeing its beauty again. It's truly indescribable, to truly understand the song, you would need to have been there.

This is still a really rough draft, I just wanted to jot down the story line. Basically it's about a guy who meets a girl, they end up having to move away from each other and loose contact. And this is the guys plea to be with her again. Needs Major work. ​
