Must Post From A Home IP Upon Request

This thread is meant to say - Hey, if you have 1 ip address or multiple ip addresses and they are ALL VPNS, then we will require you to post on some sort of home ip.

This would only be for suspicion.

 

I think I support. However, 1 hour to do so is outrageous. They should get banned and on ban reason told to post from home ip to be unbanned. I was reported for being an evader because all my matches is vpn and my registration ip is home, nothing happened, but i also wasnt disappointed for being accused either as their intention was to keep scammers out and keep the site safe.

 

As long as there is probable cause...

 

I actually strongly agree with this. There is literally no need to only be posting on VPN's with multiple IP addresses.

But my problem is, what if the user is on a college campus? My university has general wi-fi for everyone and I'm pretty sure it's the same IP address, although it's not a home IP. How would you deal with these people? Also, what's stopping someone from going to a friend's house and posting from their phone or something. At this point, it's not that reliable.

 

Right thats more than provable , in going to be goinjg to West Chester University next semester, ok im on their Internet, shows a "Home ip" because its a direct internet provider that youre using. (Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner, etc)
