    Outside of the poll, I would say the gear is the most useful invention. Not only does it have many valid applications in modern day mechanics, but it is also way of thinking mentally, and allows us to delve into brainstorming with a little more guidance.

    On the poll, I'd say the toilet. I've never been on an airplane, I don't like it being light, though my computer uses lightbulbs, so that's kinda important, medicine is too broad, so fuck that shit...

    Toilet or Lightbulbs, imo.

    Medicine that is man-made and is used to CURE diseases/sickness is an invention. Medicine that is natural (such as grounded horn) are medicine that provide relief, and they do not help cure. But I don't think they work.

    Change toilet to toilet paper and you have a winner!

    You can shit / piss most places outside without too much bother, but having to wipe your ass with you hand is just awful!

    From the view of the human race, medicine but as a luxury to me, aeroplanes :D

    Rofl, so lots of African people are falling over and dying from common colds and constipation?
    I think lots of them die from infections which are emphasized by AIDS but xD CONSTIPATION!?

    Most useful would be medicine...and at the same time worst invention ever....Because it will cause overpopulation.....ruining the earth and our own lives.
    Better medicine will cause more deaths in the end then it will save.


    Anyways the best invention ever would be THE WHEEL.
