The smilie set this forum uses dates back to 1997. Could we get new, updated ones? Thanks bros.

Are smileys really used enough to warrant spending time to revamp the smiley selection we have?

 

Remove them imo. Never used and they're quite tacky. Though, I think Slashz might enjoy emoji's as a replacement, (s/o upper spam) they're not quite representative of the typical audience of Sythe.

 

i think so. smilies help convey your message that you're trying to get across. it's why emojis are so popular. humans use facial expressions and body language to communicate as additions to language, why not try to enhance communication here by at least letting people use pixelated facial expressions. currently, the smilies we have ar ejunk. more people would use them had there be a decent set of them.

Someone is mad over the idea I see lol '14. I would use them more often if we had more but as stated its not a big issue but I still suppourt
