    Well that is my point exactly. The natural property rights of these people are being constantly infringed by government and waring tribes and this is the cause of their deep poverty.

    I recall from another thread you saying that couples will say "we can't afford another child." Well, there are many families that are in deep poverty in Africa with 3 or more children who can barely afford one child. It is indeed the government's fault, but the family needs to also take measures into their own hands and stop having children if they can't afford it.

    I think you will find everywhere that I asserted that I included the qualifier 'in a free society'.

    But in the case of Africans I believe also that enhanced population numbers are their best chance of winning freedom. So in that case too I would not support anti-natalism.

    Enhanced population? That means nothing if the people have nothing while the government is rich.

    I think the only way they can win their freedom is if the army, which is probably highly paid, goes against the government. But it is highly unlikely that they will risk torture and death for that. Without an army the government is nothing.
