    I don't think they'll take the decision to make someone a mod lightly. This just makes it clear to the staff team who's interested and what they can bring to the table. If there's people who "shouldn't be promoted" with valid reason what makes you think the mods will pick them now? This is a step in the right direction to make #sythegr8again.

    • Registered on Sythe.org for 2 years minimum.
    Why such the long requirement? Honestly that cuts out a lot of great candidates for positions, two years online is a lot of time. It's hard to stay dedicated to anything with enough passion to help in that capacity after being around for that long. I know time is typically used as a pseudo-indicator of trust or reliability, but I feel like now that there is an application there are other avenues to prove these things (through being vulnerable / showing irl information like resume).
