I am currently banned for what was claimed to be my "refusal" of a refund to a customer.

I sold him some powerleveling services and I was not able to hold my end of the deal due to real-life time constraints. I also no longer had the money to pay him back at the time he requested the refund. I wasn't sure how long it would be until I received the money needed to pay him back. ($25.) So I offered him what I thought was a great deal. I offered him $40 worth of any other one of my services, whether it be graphics or questing..

I understand that this is not what he wanted, but it was an attempt to pay him back sooner rather than later. He didn't grow fond of this deal, and before talking to me about his decision, decided to post a scam report about me which lead to me being banned before I could defend my case.

Though multiple attempts at a temporary solution to our issue, I've been turned down by this man, so I remain banned and he remains un-refunded.

The thing I keep repeating to him over and over again is that I am banned from Sythe, therefore I can not earn money to pay you back.

I've offered him many other options and even just temporary ways of calling us even until I can get my hands on the money, but nothing seems to be working.

and while I do agree that this is unprofessional, I did Photoshop some PayPal receipts of me having sent him the money in hopes that I would become unbanned at least long enough to ACTUALLY send the money.

My intentions were never to take his money, I was just simply unable to do the services he requested during the time he ordered them and I did not have access to the money he sent me when he requested a refund.

Being promptly banned less than 24 hours after his scam report rendered me completely unable to pay him back any time soon.

So here's what I propose to Dylan, my customer:

I offered to sell him a virtual contract I created that is worth $25. If I give him this virtual contract for free, it cleans our slates and we are now 'even', if you will.

This then allows the Mods/Admins to unban me, as Drento stated that I would be unbanned when I paid this fellow back.

The virtual contract would lock me into an agreement that says I must purchase the contract back from Dylan for $25 via PayPal within 1 week of his purchase or it will rightfully considered scamming.

Since I would be unbanned, I would then be able to work on Sythe as a normal day and earn the $25 to buy back this 'contract' from him in less than a week.

If I did not comply with these contract guidelines then I should be banned without question and it should be treated as any ordinary service scam case, whereas this would technically be considered my second offence.

So please support my case and let my customer know that this is a valid option and attempt to pay him back without causing any problems.

I know Dylan said no, but if he'll accept $25 of skilling or services in some other form then I'm okay with this.

Of course other staff can weigh in.

 

Couple reasons why I'm leaning towards not supporting this:

1) You were less than cooperative with the victim at the beginning of this and didn't handle it very professionally IMO.

2) You faked screenshots (photoshopped) of repayment to try to be unbanned which shows your true character.

3) You repeatedly messaged the victim on Skype asking him to say that you payed him back behind staff's back.

If I was to support this it would be on the condition that you have seven days from the minute you are unbanned. You would be permanently banned for scamming if at all over that deadline. No excuses whatsoever.

 

I'm waiting on another staff's opinion as this is kind of a different offer.

Denied until you pay back the user. If you hadn't have fabricated evidence I would've considered the offer. You'll have to find a way to pay him back.
