BoFa, Ely, Fang, Sang, Avernic, DHL, all GWD except Nex. Most untradeables, most quests done, all diaries done. Decent number of LMS points.

High end accounts like this have such a huge range based on rep which sadly you are on the low end of. $1500-4500 depending on how trustworthy.

What can I do to increase the trustworthiness of the transaction? Get a friend who has rep to sell on my behalf? I want to sell, but I'm not too pleased with getting a bad deal simply because this isn't a market I've participated in before.

I'm even willing to tutor the buyer. Playing UIM is pretty different to a regular account, and there are some pitfalls.

 

Getting a friend to sell won't increase trustworthieness as you can still recover.

You'd need to conduct business on here for a good while to build up rep. If you don't want to do that you would have to draft up some sort of sale agreement/legal contract but again most buyers probably would not be arsed with enforcing that if it were breached.

Sadly there's not much you can do quickly, sucks but thems the breaks.

At the end of the day OSRS accounts are always recoverable. So, if you aren’t actively doing business here on sythe (which goes hand in hand with rep), you have nothing to lose. If you were to sell the account, recover it, and get banned on sythe, you’d have lost nothing.

That’s why rep is so important, because it means that the seller has some real value to lose if they were to try and pull something. In addition to having shown to be trustworthy in the past.

Without rep you have to take a real hit to the value of the account because most people assume there is a good chance it gets recovered. Just look at the high level accounts on here which haven’t sold in months/weeks even for good prices. Nobody wants to buy untrusted accounts.

Honestly due to the uniqueness of this account if it were from a very trustworthy user I would evaluate it even at the $5k-7k mark.

 

There is 0% chance you get anything close to full value for this then because even if you proxy sold it you can always recover and have nothing to lose.

 

Definitely agree with this as well. Proxy selling is only slightly less sketchy than selling it yourself as the proxy seller has to disclose that they are not the original owner (OO) of the account.

 

I understand you probably no longer have time for osrs or gaming in general so this may not be an option for you. Try selling on Eldorado.gg or playerauctions for one of the above prices. If your account is good enough someone will buy.

 

The account has been sold. I'm happy with the price considering I don't have any rep and whatnot. I think the buyer got a bargain in terms of how much time went into the account, but beggars can't be choosers. I have every intention of upholding the transaction. The world needs less thieves.

To be honest, it is nothing when measured against the work I put into the account, but I am lucky to walk away with something that will help me in life. In addition to the lifelong friends I made playing the game.

The buyer is having problems with paying off the account. The account is again open to interest. Please PM me with your Discord tag if you're interested.

We had a payment plan, but some unexpected circumstances have affected the buyer's ability to finish paying for the account. The buyer does not have complete access yet, and won't until payment is complete (password change, email change etc.).

I'm still open to payment plans. Paying me what is left owing on the account will get you access, and then paying the buyer back his deposit will get you complete control (password change, email change, best-effort recovery details).

The security of the account is not compromised by the fact the buyer had access. He had the password and the MFA seed, which have both been changed.
