I think one of Suf's point is that other staff members should voice there opinion and stand up for other members dispite what other mods will think. Obviously I can't argue this point because I have no access to the staff lounge however from what suf's said this is the case.


Just to back up what suf said about unfair bans...

Do you honestly think that every infraction/ban has been deserved?

A member is given twc because he said he originally came to sythe to scam but he had a change of heart and never did. Do you honestly think that he deserved the temp and the twc he was given just by being honest when replying to a tread

Just a point of few, trying to back up suf's point of unfair bans because I'm sure others would agree the twc was unfair. As for the part where you don't agree with every infraction/ban then why don't you stand up for those innocent members isn't that a part of your job as staff?

This happened with one of my good friends that i became with on sythe, Snowboard-Ninja. He was the 1st person i had ever done a transaction with and we talked much after he was banned. his ban didn't even have solid proof and i was even told there were mods trying to get him banned, and even if he did sell "cracked accounts" (which today i still have no clue what they are) i know he has changed by a great amount.

Cracked accounts are accounts which were gained by appealing a random account from 2001-2005 with false information and some get unbanned by chance, another method of "cracking" is bruteforcing, although I think this method has died out now.

And believe it or not, Snowboard-Ninja did sell me an account which was recovered, I'm not saying it was his fault, but it shouldn't of happened.

You can keep saying I don't understand your argument. My staff position doesn't change the way I think about a situation like this. I'm not surprised the majority of the members here agree with you. Many of them are probably quite guilty of said acts & would love to come clean with no foul. It doesn't make you right.

There is an obvious difference between how the moderators view things and how most of the members view things which became very apparent to me when I resigned. So, yes. Your staff position does greatly effect how you see this suggestion. I don't see what you are talking about with this right and wrong business though. I am making a suggestion to change the way this bans are handled and what thought is put into them. A suggestion can't be right or wrong.

ok farcast your right I'm not saying you personally aren't speaking your opinion about these unfair bans, because obviously your doing that in your posts right here in this thread. But wouldn't you agree that there are some unwarrented bans/infractions?and that something needs to be done about this.

Yes, I do not agree with every ban/infraction.

My voice only travels so far. Ultimately, it's up to the majority vote unless Sythe intervenes.

I know. I was responding to you and then asking how this right or wrong stuff works. Since, it doesn't make much sense to me. I went with it one last time because it was the easiest way to get what I wanted to say understood.

thats really not what this suggestion is at all.
