    Asking any person that rents main accounts out this question.

    After the account was successfully rented, and the user is on and staking.

    The user, stops responding on skype, and doesn't ever say one word. The time was up, I notified him I was going to be booting the account in 5 minutes. I want you to let me know if you need more time to transfer gold off. No response. I gave an extra minute just in case still, and recovered the account. Logged in, and nothing was on it.

    I am assuming he lost all his gold.

    My question:

    Can I boot if i don't hear back from the renter when the allotted time is up? If there is gold obviously that cannot be taken as you can't seize peoples banks. However, what if the person loses his bank in the described situation. Then, claims that the account got booted and there was in fact gold on the account?

    I am trying to protect myself from a "suspected" scam report.

    The person that rented from you paid for a certain amount of time. Five minutes prior to the amount of time rented (however many hours that may be) you did the right thing by notifying him that his time is almost up, and telling him to transfer his goods before it's up (even though you can't seize his bank you could boot him after the time frame of the rental since he hasn't paid for that additional time). Thread for that can be found here, but I'd also mention that in your TOS, so your clients are aware.

    You can't boot during the time frame of the rental, but you can boot him after that (obviously you can't seize his bank though as you mentioned, so the goods would have to be returned in that case).

    Then they would just be falsely accusing you, and the report would be invalid. If they had proof to back up their claims, then that would be a different story. That's why people who are renting are always encouraged to record.

    If you're innocent like you say, then you have nothing to worry about.

    I am innocent, had nothing to worry about, but got a TWC. Trying to protect myself is all.

    Your twc was issued because of that not max main rentals ? Changing the pw after the customers time is up is absolutely fine, it’s common curiosity to let them know their time is up.

    Desirex is trying to say your TWC wasn't issued for max main rental issues. Your TWC was issued for poor trading practices, more specifically what Champ stated here.
