low post count link block

srry for double post but a mod supported it

I support, but this will bring in A LOT more spam, like people goign into everythread sayng "lol nice" then at 25 spam up every thread with phisher.

 

Decent newcomers like me will be spamming the forums if this goes ahead. 150 is abit much lol, but I can see why you think of this. 35-50 seems much more reasonable, because it'd take a good 1-2 hours to find threads to post on without making a post itself.

It should never be done.. There is no reason that just because there are alot of recent phishers, then you should have to post 150 times just to be able to sell cash. Hell, it's a fucking requirement to post pictures! Just, because some people are too lazy to hover over it, that doesn't mean other people should be restricted from being able to sell their items. Two weeks is a long time, and that's over 10 posts a day to just be able to sell something. That means you also have to spam. If this is ever finalized, then might as well take out the rule for pictures required, several sections, etc. No support at all.

 

You should be able to post images and emails, but not any other links, unless you reach the limit 10/20/50 posts.

 

Doubt that's even possible to do.

 

even tho im new to this website (old on other websites) this is an amazing idea. I dont know if it's possible tho

 

I support also adding a one week requirement to actually stop the spammers.

I'd support this if it had correlation with join date, rather than post count. More spam would result from the people trying to achieve X number of post count in order to post a link.

This would be a better idea imo and it would still have the same effect.

 

Only problem with this, is potential scammers *might* create like 50 accounts, and then leave them for 1month, or whatever the requirement is. Also, if you did it by join date, the few legitimate newcomers will be penalised heavily, which I think is unfair.

But yeh, Support. All links should be removed from anyone under 150 posts. Great idea.
