Definition of Hybrid

Hybrid is when you mix up two combat skills into one.

Examples of hybrid style:

Mage + Melee
Range + Mage

However, in terms of clan wars, it would be the best if you go for Mage + Melee. You combine the strength of your weapon with an art of binding the enemy. Not only binding, there is also a spell called "curse" which can lower your enemy's defence by 5 which is realy a good advantage.

Advantanges

- Binding will stop your opponent for 5 seconds. It will give you the chance to save energy chasing your opponents.

- Curse spell reduces the enemy's defence by 5.

- It can save you time killing your oppnonents, because less chasing = less time to spend killing 1 opponent.

Disadvantages

- Less foods to accomodate your rune needs. As Curse and Bind uses Runes to activate it.

- Tendency of getting piled/snipe. As this is what most of the clans do nowadays, hybrid is what every clans hope to win a war.

- Switching from Mage outfit into Melee armour. Hybrids need mage armour ( I will discuss later ). So sharpness mixing with good fast clicks on mouse is a must

How not to die when being a hybrid

If your a hybrid, make sure you dont draw much of attention from opposing clan. If you did draw attention from the opponents, make sure that their snipers/pile will be up on your back. Most of the clans today got "sniping unit" going on. They will try snipe the snipers so they cant bind for their team. So, if you got sniped, make sure you put your full rune on and jus watch your HP because eventually they will give up on you because their main target is "sniping" people in robes. If you got piled though by they whole team/clan, make sure you:

1. Hugg the nearest object to you

2. Protect melee on, steel skin too if you got high prayer lvl

3. Put on full rune + staff

4. Eat and tank until you die.

Equipment is a must ofcourse. You should have the following items in your backpack as a starting inventory:

* Equipments

Full rune
Rune Scimmy
Ammy of power
Fancy boots or boots
Soft Vembraces - + def , - mage but. not much (-) minus like in green d'hide vamb.gloves/green vambs.
Team cape

*Back Pack*

Blue wiz top, blue robe, blue wiz hat / Full wizard armor that you get in FOG - 3 spaces
Staff - 1 space
Strength pot - 1 space
Water, Earth , Nats, (Body) - 3/4 spaces ( Must have atleast 500 binding runes since you dont lose items in CLan wars and BOdy Runes if cursing is allowed in the rules of the clan)
Swordfish - 8/9 swordfish to survive early hits you going to take from earlier damage when you were on robes
Anchovy Pizza - 8/9 to pull yourself up if you managed to hugg well and recover your hp.

* Dont bring Anchovy pizza as all of your food, make sure you atleast bring 4/5 swordfish because Pizza is soo slow to eat. So Swordfish is just to get back up your hp.
