    Looking for a new laptop
    I just received funding from the government for a business start up, and part of it will be going towards a new laptop. They are willing to cover a laptop if it's under $700 before taxes, so that's what I need.

    Requirements:

    • 17+ inch Screen
    • 500+ GB Hard Drive
    • 6+ GB RAM
    • Windows 8.1

    Anyone have any good recommendations that will cover all of those requirements?

    I'm considering this one, and will buy additional RAM and an external hard drive.

    Looking for a new laptop
    Pretty much anything will be usable as a work laptop, the main things to look out for are battery life, hard drive space, and probably an ssd for the programs you're using frequently.

    That one doesn't look like it has a built in ssd, so I'd keep looking and see if that exists within that price range.
