Logical proof that God exists

Well first, a theory means a well-substantiated body of facts, evidence, predictions, and explanations. For example, gravity remains a theory. There is nothing to prove that it won't suddenly stop working, or start working in reverse.

Second, existence could theoretically exist without the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang, there was allegedly an infinitely dense mass of matter. This existed, yet it was still before the Big Bang.

so if there was never god then we could not know about him/her? is this wat is ment?

Well, I'll try to argue. :]
If God does not exist, does it necessarily mean that he cannot exist? I don't think so ..
The creation of the universe ..
Well, we're in the universe. Does that mean that the universe DOES exist? Couldn't there be the smallest chance that at this very moment, we do not exist?
If we do not exist, then does existence exist? Does the food that I eat everyday exist?
Now ask yourself a similar question ..
Does God have to exist for him to be there?

Does Satan exsists?

Right, if God does not exist, he COULD have existed, so his existence is not "necessary".

However, I stripped God of all attributes except for existence, so in essence, this argument merely proves the existence of existence.

first of all....
homer simpson already proved god does not exist so this conversation "in essence" does not exist itself

things exist if you believe they exist thus if you dont believe god exists he does not
if you dont believe the word exist exists then it does not

if you belive you can fly it can happen

thus existence is based on belief
and the belief of an omnipotent being is yours to make
but i dont believe in the existence of choice thus you cannot make that choice :)

I agree. If something exists, it exists regardless of faith, choice, and mistaken information.

Right! Exactly!

It is not necessary, but possible. Is it impossible for a being not existing to exist?

If you've given god nothing but the existence of existing, there really isn't anything possible to say about him not existing ..
Alas, he is merely a God wandering aimlessly through the minds of those who believe in him to one, like you, who says that God is in essence of existing and nothing more.

Then, if God is just existence, you can say that he doesn't really exist. Technically, he does, if you choose to name existence as God, but that honestly doesn't offer too much comfort to those on their deathbeds...

That's not what is meant. What is meant is that if God does not exist, it is impossible for him to ever have existed.

well this theory makes absolutely no sense to me because if he does not exsist now doesnt mean he hasnt existed in the past

Honestly it depends on what god is. I don't believe there is a human looking spirit influencing and touching humans. I Do believe there is an inigma who created the universe.
What you're saying is very true.

It is the God stripped of all attributes but an unquantifiable existence.

And Angels?
And Heaven..

Those things are unknowable.

Then yes it is very possible.
Is it possible that something just exists and has always existed.
If not then god has to be real.
Then again someone has to create god, and so on.

It does make sense if you use your brain, Well i beliee thats a logical explanation, However we have no proof that god is a necessary bieng, For all we know the earth could have been created through the Big Bang, but then how were we created? the questions are endless and so are the possibilities but i believe your theory may be correct

2). God does not exist. If he does not, it is impossible for a God to exist.

Since there is nothing impossible about the idea of God, we can rule out #2, which leaves us #1 left.

Your argument for 2 is flawed. Just because something does not exist, that does not mean that it is impossible for it to exist.

[Hypothetical Scenario]
There is not a boy called Jimmy who has brown eyes, blonde hair and lives with his Uncle in France. That does not mean that it is impossible for Jimmy to have ever existed, or for him to exist in the future.

[2nd Hypothetical Scenario]
There is currently not a war between America and Britain. That does not mean that it is impossible for a war to break out or to have occured in the past. (Which as far as I'm aware there wasn't)

Even if he existed, what proof is there that he would actually be a necessary being? That is simply an assumption.

I believe your argument is irrelevant - it neither determines nor denies the existence of God. It simply makes us think again about these issues.

It does not apply to everything, but only the concept of God, because God is a "necessary" being.

Refer to my definition of "necessary" a page or two ago.

First, that is in no way "proof". It is what you should call "evidence".

Second, do not even try to argue from the position of Intelligent Design. The human eye is NOT irreducibly complex, you know.

lets see the Big Bang top that! lol

What does the Big Bang have to do with the human eye?
