log in issue - has this happened to you?

Hi all,

For some reason I cannot log into my account.
When I type in my username and password it does not register and says invalid.
I have recovered my password 3 times to see if that was the problem, but when I enter the new password (which i just changed)... it still says invalid.

If i was banned i would still be able to log in and see that i was banned wouldnt I? If I was hacked I would be able to changed my password and log right back in so I dont think I was hacked. Also my username isnt showing up on high scores anymore..

has anyone run into this problem?

Sounds like your account might've been deleted since it's not on the highscores.

I might be wrong though. Maybe email Jagex to find out the real reason.

 

yeah i have.. thats weird i wonder how it would/could have been deleted lol...

nop! I dont think it got deleted either because when i type in the same password after resetting my password... it says you cannot use the same password or something (clearly indicating that i am getting the right password - i just cant log in for some reason). if the account was deleted.. all information would be gone - i assume even the password.

 

I never heard of an account getting deleted.

Here is the diagnostic I came up with.

1. The account is banned.
2. The account ran out of membership.
3. The username/password is wrong.

An easier way would be to contact Jagex to give you a proper explanation.
