Is there anyway around buying XSplit premium to get the function of just streaming the game? I'd rather not my skype, facebook, etc to be showing while streaming. Is it a option on open broadcaster?

 

Open Broadcaster has one.

 

Yes, OBS does a Hook in method on all your games, so it will only display what you allow to be hooked in, if you n eed help setting it up just shoot me a PM.

also xsplit does this aswell, it's called Game capturing, and not window.

 

I am having issues with Audio/Video desync. Any idea how to correct that?

Using Xsplit with an El Gato. 50 Meg Down 5.5 Up.
Like when I shoot the gun will shoot, then about a second later you will hear it shoot, when I stop firing the you hear the gun shooting for about an extra second. You can watch any of my past broadcasts and see at www.twitch.tv/flipnotiic

Seems to me the capture card you use, has audio issues with everyone due to the audio being re-routed.

 

How bad is this as far as streaming?

Edit: Does that say Texas to anyone else? Not sure why it says that...

 

hnoestly don't know if it would even be possible to stream with that upload speed.

 

So it's really bad? Shit, and I'm the only one using the internet at the moment, can't imagine how bad it would be if the others I live with were here as well.

 

you can give it a shot, but it's going to make online games really laggy, and unless you have a monster cpu the quality will be terrible.

 

Yeah, probably not really worth it then. All I was thinking of was using it for the occasional Runescape stream, but probably just give it a miss.

Now having some issues with increasing delay. Like usually the delay is about 3 seconds using my el gato but after about 20 minutes it gets up to like a 1 minute delay

 

will more then likley have to make a support thread over on xsplit forums or elgatos, i've never used elgato myself so im kinda clueless on the subject.

 

I have located the delay problem but not sure how to fix it.

The LIVE button sometimes goes off and the slider moves back to how ever many seconds and keeps going over time.

Processor issue?

 

Honestly have no idea, i don't have first hand knowledge of that piece of hardware, you are better off contacting the people who made it.
