I saw you in the dicing thread earlier today. I can really admire your ability to steer clear of it all dude. I lost my job yesterday and it really sucks. I had to tell Entrr to ban me from the DL otherwise i'd be too tempted. But I'm just not in a position to lose any money at this point in my life. From the time I was 12, I was hooked on staking. I'd lose all my stuff repeatedly since then. I even lost all my months pay at one point in between, because I staked my entire pay check and lost. I'm glad that you are able to steer clear.

Honestly you should give yourself credit for even attempting to stop something you may have an addiction in. I used to be a heavy smoker and I realize how hard it is to stop something that you are truly addicted to. But if I can stop smoking then I am sure you can stop gambling. Best of luck to you.

 

good luck man gambling problems can surely sink the ship.....

maybe try some diff pservers or maybe pk more.... Pking is a form of gambling but its not as random as dicing/staking. You can satisfy your needs by winning fights and if you lose you wont lose too too much. Don't high risk... Best of luck!

TTB is busy with finals and schoolwork as far as I'm aware, so he's still on track with his goal.

Just letting everyone know.

 

I didn't realize this thread had been unlocked...well I did a few days ago, but there was too much to update >.<

Anyway, all is updated now, so yay. I was banned for quite a while and this thread was locked for quite awhile due to my exams/graduation, but now everything is set so back to daily updates.

Just curious, how are you feeling about yourself when you look back to the OT and see all of your accomplishments and what changes from day one to day 93 have you made to keep yourself on track?

It's good to know that you don't let the two small "failures" detour you from continuing to try.

 

It feels pretty awesome, but at the same time part of me is dreading the days passing by since I'll eventually no longer be bound to this log. I'm dreading it since a little part of me still wants to gamble every single day, and I know that as soon as it's September 1st, I'll want to full out buy bils of gp to gamble again. Hopefully I'll be able to have more control by then, but I'm still worried that after all this time I still have extreme urges to gamble.

As for changes, I've kept more busy these past 90 days. I've actually started going to parties, I've been hanging with friends more, and I've tried picking up other hobbies.
