[Drink] Starbucks - Unicorn Frappucino Review

Everyone was talking about and getting this drink yesterday, so I thought I'd join in on the fun. I was on the fence after I heard a bunch of people say it wasn't that good. I dived in anyways.

Price paid: $4.40 or something after tax for a "tall"



The first thing I did was taste a bit of the sour powder on top of the whipped cream. I was impressed yet disgusted. The sour level was so good but the powder had no flavor at all and that was the major flaw this product had. The blue sour strip, which you don't see because of crappy Starbucks emloyees, was also flavorless and just did nothing for the drink when not mixed.

The Frappucino itself had a good Mango flavor. The ice wasn't blended properly, as some crappy Starbucks locations tend to do... a lot. It was good, but I'd rather get any other Frappucino. So then I had to mix the drink up, so I don't get disappointing bits of nothing but sour flavor. Meh.

Tart, I guess they call it. Disappointed again. Waste of $4.

Low 2/5. Really could have been improved by adding some flavor to the sour components, whether it be mango or another flavor. Blend your ice properly.

I wouldn't get this again.

Heard it tasted kinda shitty, but honestly not gonna lie I think it looks dope. Saw it all over my IG feed yesterday so it looks like their marketing team at least did something right. Repeat sales don't matter, you know all those white girls who bought one are gonna wanna post this shit on their social media with a god damn unicorn emoji lol.

I heard a lot of this so I asked them on the app to double the mango syrup. I'm not sure if they did or not, but I certainly tasted mango. Luckily, I went after the beta testers already tried it and gave their complaints

Yeah just know two things from my review:

Might be better to ask for extra mango syrup.

100% mix the sour blue strip in... it tastes like unflavored straight malic acid.
