Base on the amount of scammers on this site why would you make a real life trading forum?

Wow, RWT is gonna be fucking stupid. We're just gonna have a bunch of fucking arseholes trying to scam, then another bunch of arseholes trying to accuse.

 

How is that any different than now? It isn't. There are scammers and always will be, nothing you can do about it.

Anyway, good rule changes. Lets see how it all plays out.

The real world trading section is going to be the hardest section to manage. Market mods should not cover this area, RWT section should have its own mods. It is going to be the most easily scammable section, and its almost impossible to provide proof for anything.

 

No, they won't.:

 

Yes things I can think of right now will be...

Money charged back
Items "lost" in the mail
Items "broken" through mail
etc. etc.

The list basically goes on and on.

Porn is included in that.

Also, scamming can be reduced if people use shipping insurance and tracking numbers, etc.

Getting rid of warnings is ridiculous, In my opinion.

 

Understand our reasoning. Users agree to be bound to our rules upon signing up. Warnings were never needed in the first place; it only served as an incentive to break rules if you know you'll only get a slap on the wrist. This system is more effective, ensuring that double-standards don't emerge and that users are banned fairly.

 

Yeah, you're 100% right. At the forums I help Admin we usually don't give warnings unless we are feeling very generous.

ah, nice, i bet people are going "aww crap, im gonna get banned" lolz.

 

There isn't a digital trail as people will be relying on mail. We're definitely going to see some "I sent the item, you lier!" and "You never sent me anything after two weeks!" threads.
