What if that person was your mother. Or even more severe, yourself.
My answer is no. This would be the highest act of greed. Ending someones life for monetary gain? The blood is entirely on your hands. I know I for one would never be able to live with myself knowing someones Son/Daughter, Mother/Father, lover, or friend died so i can be happy. No way.

No. I would simply destroy the button however I can, to prevent any misuse. As for justifying my answer, everyone deserves a chance to fully live out their lives, and taking their lifespan also means taking away their chance for repentance for all the wrong that they've done.

Yes. If there were no consequences for my actions such as guilt or karma, if you believe in it.
The movie is " The Box " i believe.
How ever many bad things that could come from this, could also be turned into good things.
Press the but 100 times. Donate 100 million dollars to charity. 100 lives for tens of thousands of people that your saving.
Of course there's no telling whom you killed, so its always a risk, and your assuming other people are willing to die to donate 1 million dollars to charity, doing it would be.. self righteous ?
At any rate, i probably wouldn't do it. Can imagine the guilt of having killed someone over greed for the rest of my life.

i honestly would, a million is alot more then most people make in their life times
All lives are precious. I would not press the button even for 1 billion dollars.
I would never, ever press the button. I believe that playing God isn't right, and really- I'd rather earn my own money than lose my conscience forever. I'd forever be haunted by the idea that somebody died due to my greed.

it depends what the amount of money would be, lets say it was 1M + real life cash, and you were basically guaranteed amunity or noone would know im preety sure that anyone would do it

No, I wouldn't do it. I think we live in a pretty sad society if money is valued more than a human life. Even if I never found out who it was I killed, I'd have a hard time sleeping at night.

But it would depend on how many people were aloud to press it. If all of us had the oppurtunity, A lot of people would do it, as you said at the start of the post, 48% of people would do it. So that would leave a lot of us vulnerable as well. It also depends on your religious thoughts as well, or if you believe in Karma.
But, my excitement of the possibility of a million dollars would definately thrive.
