Rest in peace, didn't know him personally but he seemed like a great guy.

Jon was one of the most caring people on Runescape I knew, always putting up with everyone showing them respect and taking the time to always talk to me and help me. I haven't been able to talk to him for a while which is something I'll regret.

I first met Jon when TTB and Kruw brought me into DD. Over the course of a year Jon became one of my closest friends. We would speak for hours on teamspeak. We had so much fun working together. We became such good friends that my girlfriend noticed. She could always recognize Jon's voice when I was hosting. Eventually leading too Nikia and Jon becoming friends. Jon was a good man with a strong heart. Nothing will ever be the same for me without Jon here. Though im extremely sad I still smile when I think about him. Jon was always good for a laugh and smile no matter what. I realize how lucky I was to meet Jon let alone be his friend. Im thankful for the 3 years we spent together. I will always cherish your memory. Im happy the pain is gone. May you rest in peace.

 

I've known Jon for about 5 years now. In the early days of our friendship we didn't get along very well, we bashed heads many times do to my nature of telling it how it is, or at least how I felt it was haha. As the years passed that changed and we moved passed our differences, Jon became someone that I could confide in about personal things that only he would understand.

Jon always had a drive to achieve things and a thirst for knowledge. He couldn't accept no, or not possible, or failure as options. He had to know the answer. He would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it.

Jon never told me plain out he wanted a legacy or something to be remembered by, but I could tell by his conversations and drive for a successful clan, and his other business ventures that its what he wanted. I can honestly say , judging by all the heartfelt comments on this thread, and the 40+ that joined us for his Memorial on teamspeak, that he did not fall short of achieving that.

I never knew Jon personally but he sounds like he was someone that always kept his head high even when the times were tough. I admire the many great qualities that have posted about Jon time and time again. I regret not getting to know him.... Rest in peace. I wish your family the best and hope they are able to keep a positive attitude during these hard times.

 

I had the pleasure of creating his UI. Actually really great guy and had a lot of patience with me when making it.

 

RIP Jon. You will be missed.

My younger sister who's only 14 years young is suffering braincancer, and only has a few days left.
she don't anymore nor move, she just lay in bed and cries, panic attacks.

Even tho I didn't get the honour to meet him it would be a honour to support his cause.

My great Aunt just died from cancer. MY Grandma also has cancer. My mom/moms sisters/Grandma went to England to visit her before she died. God bless everyone with cancer. Its hell.
