-How active are you on Sythe?
I am a daily user. I scan the forums every single day, and hop on to check my unread messages just as often, if not more often, than my Facebook and other social networking sites. This includes MSN and Skype. Overall, I would average my daily online time at 3-7 hours out of 24 hours.


-Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?
Truthfully, I have absolutely nothing better to do. I don't run a gold store, I don't train accounts, and I don't sit in the spam forums 24/7. I have alot of free time here on Sythe that I am willing to use to help benefit the community.


-Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I have been a player on Runescape since the classic days, back in 1999, so I know of most things, whether it be about skills, glitches, PKing, or regular tutorials. I have also read nearly every worthwhile "Free" Runescape guide that has been posted, whether it was on here, somebody's blog, or just a video on Youtube. I am also a people person, so communicating with others and being active, whether here on Sythe, on Runescape, or on MSN, I can make it happen. I also enjoy testing and trying out new ideas and ways to do things, so it would be quite interesting to me interacting with other people about their knowledge of Runescape and trying out their ideas they would like to sell on the site.


-Anything else we should know about?
Honestly, I don't do much for the community other than a few free trainings here and there, and giving suggestions/bettering suggestions, throwing opinions and ideas around and whatnot. Being on this site for as long as I have, I would LOVE an opportunity to finally give back to this ever growing community and actually be looked up to as a respectable member of Sythe.org, rather than be known as a average, no vouch lurker like 75% of the members already here.(No offense)


-Your level of Runescape knowledge/account.
I have quite a few accounts, whether they be pures, skillers, or my newly created(Start over) main account, if that is what you mean. They are not the highest of levels, but I have had enough high level accounts to know what is best for training, what the best minigame tactics are for each individual minigame, as well as good merching/flipping advice for Grand Exchange merchers, and a high level of knowledge when it comes to quests and the Runescape community.


This is the end of my application. Again, I would just like to say that I have not given to this community enough, and would love this opportunity to do so. I don't have alot of vouches, etc, because as I said, I haven't had much of a store or shop to sell things in. I prefer to keep my things, and as I stray away from the market, I would like to fall into my own place in the community, which right now, I believe would be an Official Guide Verifier. OGV Aplication, For the record, this is my 2nd, i made one last year too.

How active are you on Sythe?
I'd say i probably actively browse threads about 5 hours a day. There are also a few hours where sythe is just sitting there and i alt tab into it while im doing other stuff, but hours in total that sythe is open on my computer in a 24 hour day is probably 7-8. I Always am on everyday, and even times when i was camping or go away on holidays i make attempts to keep up to date with whats happening on here. On weekends my acitivity increases dramatically and i sometimes in the holidays found myself up till 2am on sythe and in the IRC. I would like to think if someone counted the hours every sythe member has been browsing for one week I would be in the top 50.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?
I am more than willing, if necessary, to verify multiple guides a DAY. This position is highly regarded and it would be a privilege to me to give back to the sythe community by being an active guide verifier. I love the niches of guides, I love Runescape, i love helping people achieve goals and i love sythe, ultimately, this position is something that I would feel extremely proud and happy with myself if I achieved it because I would have the chance to help sythe members get their guides off the ground and rolling and a also a chance to give back.


Why do you think you are fit for the position?
First of all i would like to say I am highly active on sythe and spend probably 1/3 of my day either lurking or browsing the posts. I would like to think i have a good knowledge of how the site runs and the way the community and flow of the website operates. I also was working towards applying to become a "Head User Educator" a few years back but lost interest in sythe and dissapeared for a few years. I Live in Australia so that puts me in a different time zone to the rest of the OGV's meaning i could be the one on-line when everyone else is asleep, so there's round the clock guide verification. I'd like to think I'm moderately trustable with my experience on the site and vouches and ultimately it is a position i would thoroughly enjoy doing and not see it as a chore in anyway. I am easy to get a hold of, I have skype alerts sent to my phone and am usually online MSN, i take 8 hours to reply to a PM at the latest, (School or sleep time.) I believe i could really bring something to the OGV team like outstanding service and commitment or innovative new ideas to better the system as well as respect and guidance/leadership towards the other OGV's.

I know i may come off as immature or a troll, but i assure you that 90% of the time i am targeted and provoked. Most of the trolls on sythe are hunters, and right now I seem to be the game. I am making an effort to "not feed the troll" and ignore people making provocative threads to tarnish my reputation and get me to flame them. This comes from being thin-skinned and being an easy target, something i am working on. I would appreciate if you would honour me with the privilege of become an OGV so i could prove it to myself and make something of myself on this website.

Been playing Runescape for like 8 years now on and off with many different accounts, i've probably played close to 1500+ hours overall, to be frank with you i just got back into playing it actively mid august when i heard about the "Sizzlin Summer" rewards, but I'm 100% up to date on everything and am playing for maybe 5 hours a day minimum with my friends. I'm only combat level aprox 90, but im doing some skilling at the moment and i currently maybe have more than half the total quests in the game for entrance to places, ect.

I remember wanting to do this really bad last year! But Karl insta-denied me or something, hope i will at least be considered this time around. You would not regret granting me this position.

I have gotten over 2k posts in a little over a year on being on sythe, i also am on sythe periodicity all day posting, checking my own service threads ect.

I'm dedicated to anything i do, and i'm on the computer for an average of 8-10+ hours a day and love to be involved with the community, and this would just give me another chance to do that. I'v also been playing runescape for about 7 years now, and within that time have made EVERY kind of special account, rune pure, zerker, pure, summon tank, range tank, main, boxer ect.

10+ years of runescape playing, have 6+ runescape accounts, ranging from 10 year vet cape almost maxed account to pures, there isnt really anything i don't know about runescape. Have found several glitches in runescape, a few of which have not been patched due to in-excessive use.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I am a very kind person, I don't like to be rude. If a guide is bad, you can say that it was bad in a great way. I also like to read, not books, more like short texts. I will see this as a job, by that I mean that I will take this serously and take the time to carefully read a guide, help the writer if I see any grammar misstake and decide if it should be verified or not. I am social, so will probably find it easy to talk with me.

Anything else we should know about?

I am studying journalism and communications at my school. I like to talk and I like to have a conversation, and like I wrote before, I am a nice person.

I have played Runescape since 2006 or 2007 and I've had many different accounts. I started to play Runescape some months before Grand Exchange was realesed, so I've been playing for a kind of long time, 6 years or something. I want to share my knowledge, because of that I am offering free Runescape services. I have been a clan leader in a pretty big clan and I have been testing out many different money making methods. I've have been reading a lot of guides and I've also been watching a lot of Runescape videos. I am using bots and I've tested different bots to find the best, so I've not only played Runescae for around 6 years, I've also botted a few years.

Fairly active; I'm on usually for a couple of hours every night but I must admit that I don't regularly post anymore.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

Guides have been a part of my life on sythe for awhile now. I believe in 2009 - 2010 I was involved in the then UE team, and made HUE after a couple of months. The whole purpose of this team was to read and critique guides.

Moreover, I've been a runescape and market moderator throughout my time and sythe, and was eventually promoted to global moderator at one point.

I have been an active Sythe user since last year, October. I've recently advanced in the market and started my business in the gold trade. As you can see, my business has been successful. Now I am online up to 16 hours per day.

Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week?

Yes. With the hours I spend on Sythe, I'll be one hundred percent able to commit myself to verifying multiple guides.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?

I believe I'm a great fit for this position because of the fact that I'm committed to the community and I'm becoming a popular name on this site. People have said to me that they've seen me pop-up out of the blue and that they appreciate my business here. I've also been asked to middleman a couple trades by some fellow Syther's on MSN. I believe that the outlook I have on this community will reflect the outlook the community has on myself.

Anything else we should know about?

I've worked in customer service for years, so my attitude overall is great and positive. I keep myself focused on what needs to be done and I ensure that everything is done properly. I believe that the skills and strengths I have will help me strive in the position being offered here.

My knowledge rating of RuneScape would definitely be a solid 10/10. I've been playing RuneScape since good ole' RuneScape Classic. I have been an active member in the RuneScape community since then, and have never turned on it yet. My main is level 138 in P2P and 126 in F2P. I know that my level of knowledge in the game would be a great asset in developing myself in this community, and I've done so thus far.

How active are you on Sythe?: Well, I've been banned, so I don't really stand a chance, but since I've been back highly, and I plan on keeping my activity level like this. I enjoy helping others and also performing business.
Are you willing to verify if necessary multiple guides a week? Any guides that I possibly could verify, I would. This would definitely be good for me, as I have a lot of spare time with college travelling etc.
Why do you think you are fit for the position? Even though I've been banned for a while, I've not stopped playing RS, if anything I became more active. I think I'm fit for the position as even though I've been denied multiple times I have the knowledge and skill to make sure that the guides work to a acceptable standard before allowing sale to the public, guaranteeing that they are getting the best for their money. I also have gained a lot of trust at sythe over the time, and not only have been deemed loyal, but trusted enough to be let back into this community.
Anything else we should know about? That I'm a knowledgeable RS player, who has been playing for around 6 years now, gaining over 2000 total levels, 120 combat levels and a lot of friends, I even had 7-8k posts on a runescape forum, RSBoards, which got hacked and shut down .

Why do you think you are fit for the position? I take pride in my trust and my knowledge of Runescape. I know as much as about RS as a whole as I could possibly know (in my opinion).

Anything else we should know about? Not necessarily. I have ~1500 vouches, I post usually 4-5 times daily on Sythe. Give or take.

Your level of Runescape knowledge/account ~9/10. Most of my posts on Sythe are surprisingly in the RS section. I don't own an account anymore. Before I sold my account, I had a 137 maxed main. I've botted at least 100 99's.

Beginning to become actively posting after a absence but I have always had been lurking around the forums,reading threads and responses for hours on end.

Yes I think I proved that when I was a OGV. I would work harder this time as I realize how much I miss it and how important it is.

I have a general level of maturity, can bring other ideas to the table, have a high level of experience in the areas of Runescape and how to bot it. I have had the pleasure of being a O.G.V once before, so I would not have to start fresh, I already have a foundation.

I was on the OGV before and I thought of myself as relativity active in my position. However I appreciate the efforts of the O.G.V. team in speeding up their verification process and would work hard to assist the team in their efforts

I have been playing Runescape for over 6 years across a multitude of accounts, and my job is finding the fastest way to level a skill so I would say 8-9/10. My account is level 82(I think) with high combat stats(It is a pure) with other high skills such as smithing,dungeoneering,crafting etc.

Couldn't give you an exact time estimation, but I would say 3-5 hours of active reading, and replying.

My internship schedule is Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 7AM-5PM. In other words, my schedule is completely empty the other four days of the week. Not to mention, I'm avidly reading/replying after 5PM on those three specified days.

Why do you think you are fit for the position?
I dual major between English and Theology. I devour any sort of literature, whether it be The Book of Numbers in the Old Testament, or a submitted guide on the Sythe.org forums.

One interesting fact about me is that I'm actively involved in a paid (not volunteered) pastoral internship at The City Church Seattle. Aside from that, I've stated above, two years ago I graduated with honors at New Hartford Senior High School. This public high school was named one of America's Best High Schools. The school earned a "silver medal" ranking, placing in the top 3% of the nation's high schools. I stated these facts to ensure that I'm well educated. For whatever reason, I felt the need to also specify that I was an active member of Runescapetrades.com which made me develop a grudge towards Sythe during that time period as the two forums were in competition with one another. Please do not let my minuscule post count deter you from recognition to acquire this title. This level of commitment will ultimately allow me to contribute in a greater way to the community which is what I truly would love to do.

Although I am by no means the greatest player, I've also played Runescape for over a decade now. My account has a 130+ combat, 2350+ total level, and 19 99s. It also has well over one year worth of gameplay. In terms of knowledge, I could regurgitate a collage of historical facts, philosophies, and such regarding Runescape that I've ingested throughout the years.
