Yes, contacted victim and explained why I scammed. Apologized and did everything I could to make it up to him. We are now on good terms and discussing the sale of more gold, I've offered to go first in our next trades until he rebuilds the trust I destroyed.

I made a stupid mistake, won't happen again. No one else to blame but myself.
