Java is not Recignized as an internal or external command.

If you get this error it is because the path that the compiler looks for is WRONG.

First of I want you to make sure you have Java runtime environment.
    >>Found here- http://java.com/en/

Next Make sure you have the latest Java Development Kit installed.
    >>Found here- http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp (Second link down-Java SE Development Kit (JDK) 6 Update 11)

Now this step is for vista users. Go to Program Files (x86) and take the Java folder and copy it. now go to Program Files and past it there.

Now go to start and right click on My computer and click properties. ( For Vista useres it is just Computer) On the left hand side (for vista users) Look for advanced system settings on the left side of that window then go to Environmental variables/
For Xp users right click on my computer and hit properties. Go to the Advanced tab then Environmental variabalse on the bottom.

Once open there should be System variables box at the bottom and a User variables for owner at the top. on the System variables scroll down untill you see PATH click that then click edit. once opend go to my computer (computer) then go to local disk C- program files- Java- then there should be a foilder that looks like this jre1.6.0_07, THE LAST FEW PARTS OF THE FILE MAY BE DIFFRENT AND MAKE SURE YOU NOTE THIS!

Go back to the PATH edit screen that you opened and paste this in C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_***\bin the *** stand for what java version you should have noted before if yours looks like jre.1.6.0.** type in the .** not _**. Now hit ok, then hit ok. And you should be done

If you now get an error once you try to compile saying can not find tools.jar got to this site.

Download tools.jar. MAKE SURE IT SAVES INTO YOUR RSBOT FOLDER!!!!!
Now you should be able to run rsbot.

Java is not Recignized as an internal or external command.

Also check your firewalls and virus blockers to know they let rsbot connect.
