first of all the current owners are already from China lmao.. and second of all they bought the company for half a billion dollars. If you add the sales of every gold site together for the past 10 years it still wouldn’t rich what they bought it for. They don’t have player base to sell gold to make that.. good assumption tho.. lol

I think your mental capacity is disabled if you dont think china is gonna get rid of all western rwt companies and let their own people do it. Major rwting companies are earning huge sums of money that could have been in the hands of their own citizens instead of western enemies. The majority of runescape players dont give a shit about rwting, most of its playerbase are 18year old + who are basically supporting it. You will not notice any changes with old school. The data speaks for itself, the devs know the game will die if they bring MTX to 07. They have proof of that. The Shell wouldnt spend all that money to throw it all away, knowing the history.

 

Bonds will be the only mtx in osrs... they just want to develop the game and make it more popular aka get more player base = money.
