Jagex selling gold?

I guess they didn't and they won't, would be any point to get you money making skills high? That would be Lazyscape.

 

I dont think they will because then more then just regular gold sellers/buyers would have an advantage over the true legit players which would make it more unfair then it is in some cases

Never gonna happen. It would screw up the economy beyond all recognition and plus JaGex have always maintained that they do not want anyone's success rate in runescape to be affected by your real life situation or how much money you have.

 

Not true, Jagex would just take you too there Moderator worlds and do it there. I used to have access to the Moderator world but you cant anymore.

 

This could happen if the number of people playing runescape drops dramatically.

If Jagex started selling gold, it would be a success, because it would mean no more scamming, and they would be able to generate it onto the account within seconds.

Because they made such a big deal about rwting fucking up their game, if they started to rwt them self, they'll look like dicks.

 

Jagex has never sold gold for RS. They mentioned they may work it into their upcoming project, Mechscape.

 

R2 works for Jagex, it's all a secret though.

 

One word; Hyperinflation

 

Before trade removal there was an article about jagex continuously banning all the rwt'ers. The astimated combined value was in millions of USD. (If anyone could dig this up, for exact numbers?)
So yeah, jagex would profit much from selling gold, its just stupid not to control something they perfectly able to. If they gonna do it in mechscape its just a smart move.

 

Ever sit down and think how rich they would be if they sold their own items/gold they would triple+ profits.

 

That would be a retarded idea it would just destroy the economy as we know it.

It would be like the government printing more money and giving it out to tax payers.

 

Its been suggested before. They already spend enough money trying to fight RWT, why would they contribute to their own problem?
