Jagex seems incompetent

Lol why are you talking honesty when a guy just defrauded you out of your HARD earned money.. surely you'll do whatever it takes to get it back.

If you do say to them he stole a virtual account the likelihood of you getting your money is minimal mate.. especially as he did deliver it!

 

I know, it's kinda funny. And by showing all of that I doubt you would get your money back. Lighten up a bit, you are allowed to lie... I can't see why you would rather preach God and not lie and lose your money, than to get it back. Oh also, if you just want to try rax or something you should buy a leveling service because you will not lose your account (not advertising haha)

 

Either way, since I already filed a claim, it's too late now. I just wish Jagex would do something. Of course, I doubt they'll ban him because $170, stolen money or not, is just profits for them.

And it's not just for Araxxor. I wanted to explore every part of RuneScape involving each skill. A leveling service to max almost every stat would take months and be more expensive.

 

If its in your code of honour, surely buying a runescape account (and therefore breaking the rules) is also against the code of honour? It just seems petty, but each to their own...

of course it is, so i would suggest grinding most of it yourself then for maximum enjoyment. I'l be honest, there arent many accounts i would actually trust to buy these days, i have made that mistake in the past and hopefully won't do it again. HMU if you want some leveling tho

EDIT: also, you may not win the claim, thats the problem. can't remember if you used paypal or whatever, but at least it used to be they didn't like dealing with virtual goods, could have changed by now though.

So you want the account banned then? just report it for RWT in the game if you can and that may happen, who knows

 

Jagex makes it very clear they don't involve 3rd party evidence in their claims as it can easily be altered. Account selling is against their rules, but as water stated they won't ban someone for one account recovery as it's not sufficient enough evidence. If the scumbag continues to sell and recover the account, I'm fairly certain it will get banned.

 

I already stated that the claim was lost.

And I do not lie nor cheat. Trying to enjoy a game by buying an account didn't seem all too heinous for me.

 

What you need to do is do what any respectable first world country does. Hire Indians to do your customer support. I'm sure Mr. Ginesh AKA George would be a great addition to Jagex customer care team.

 

if you a buy a runescape account make sure you get their creation email aswell even when you changed your confirm email he would still be able to recover the acc with his creation email cuz hes the official owner of the acc

 

That's a common misunderstanding. If you buy a RS account from someone else it can ALWAYS be recovered by the person who created it. Nothing you can do can stop that.
