Jagex Banning Bots ----must Read-----!

JAGEX has finally stepped up their attitude on banning bots, unfortunately this means a bad thing for many of us, supposedly one of my friends, mod friend saw on the forums that over 11590 Dungeoneering bots have been banned already (forums that only player mods+ can access) , i don't know if its f2p or p2p or most likely both, however if you are botting any skill even Dungeoneering one of the safest skills to bot i recommend you stop or at least take some precaution.

What this means:

-Gold prices will go up due to not as many gold-farmers if any.

-Botting will no longer be a part of Runescape.

-Jagex will lose A lot of money.

*NOTE those are just my theories, i am not saying that is what is going to happen so don't flame me on my opinion thanks.

As you can see i confronted a Player Moderator about this situation, and this is what she had to say about Jagex banning Bots.

from what i read i was worried they may do something like this, most people just said good they are taking a shot at the gold farmers and assumed they still aren't really too worried about the people with 1 or 2 accounts just botting for themselves

but if they are banning dung, this sucks.

Its just to make everybody scared and non-botters happy honestly.

This is just propaganda to make the normal players happy and to possibly scare the botters, I doubt that this is anything seriously yet.

 

I fully agree, this is nothing else to scare minor botters, and to show that they care against the legit players, to keep them.

Even though i bot myself, i do hope goldfarmers get killed. Hypocrite i know. Dont expect much though.

 

I don't think the threats are credible. At best, they'll do something that will briefly trip up botters. Then a few days later, everything will go back to normal.

They have been saying they're stepping up on banning bots for years. It's not working, and they're saying it to make it look like they're "trying".

 

I don't know Jagex seems pretty serious this time and has taken action. Hopefully its just a propaganda as stated above.

 

Atleast gold prices should rise! There will always be bots tho
